World Class Research Learning

Over 230 University of Pittsburgh faculty members are affiliated with the Global Studies Center. Their teaching expertise and research specializations support our certificate program and research initiatives. Each academic year, they teach hundreds of courses on global themes in 35 departments and schools.

Global Academic Partnership Fellows

The Global Academic Partnership aims to strengthen interdisciplinary research and curriculum development on global themes, enhance international scholarly ties, and raising the international profile at Pitt.

Pittsburgh Network for Threatened Scholars

The Pittsburgh Network for Threatened Scholars is a vital support network dedicated to protecting academic freedom and assisting scholars in rebuilding their professional lives in a secure environment.

H.J. Heinz Visiting Fellows

The program's purpose is to increase the impact of visits by external scholars and practitioners by bringing them to campus for extended stays to allow for greater interaction with faculty, students, and staff.
