Registration Rates and Information

In-person registration will provide the following benefits:

  • All conference sessions
  • Shuttles between conference hotel and conference venue
  • Plenaries
  • 3 continental breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and afternoon tea/coffee breaks as scheduled
  • 1 ticket to the networking reception

Virtual-only registration will provide the following benefits:

  • All plenaries (hybrid format; speakers will be in person in Pittsburgh)
  • Access to many breakout sessions (virtual/hybrid panels offered during each breakout session)
  • Exclusive access to a virtual networking event

All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel and for their travel expenses. Discounted rates are available at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, and shuttles will be provided in the morning and evening. More information about the hotel can be found here.

Payments are accepted via Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer. Note that after April 1, 2026, payment will only be possible via credit card.

All cancellations must be communicated in writing (letter or email) to UCIS at the University of Pittsburgh (ucisconference@pitt.edu). Cancellations must be received before April 15, 2026. No refunds will be possible after this date. Cancellations or modifications may be subject to administrative fees (see full cancellation policy). Please allow 4-6 weeks for refunds to be processed.

Payment Conditions

  • All payments are to be made in USD. Please indicate the event "Pitt Futures Conference 2026", the participant's name, and the invoice number on all payments.
  • Payment is due on receipt of the invoice. If payment is not provided on time, your registration may be cancelled.
  • Full payment of all items is requested when registering (by credit card or by bank transfer).
  • From 12:00 AM EST April 1, 2026, only payments by credit card will be accepted.
  • All costs are to be borne by the ordering customer. Please note that payments made by bank transfer could be subject to fees payable to your local bank.
  • Payment by personal check is not accepted.
  • Registrations are fully refundable prior to April 15, 2026. From 12:00 AM EST April 15, 2026, no refunds will be processed.
