Graduate Students

The ESC provides an array of valuable opportunities for graduate students to deepen their understanding and knowledge of Europe and the European Union. These opportunities comprise of graduate certificates in diverse fields such as West European Studies, Mediterranean Studies, Transatlantic Studies, and European Union Studies, along with academic advising and research support including Pre-Dissertation and Dissertation Fellowships. Furthermore, students can avail themselves of Small Grants to present papers at conferences, organize Graduate Student Conferences on the EU, and even take part in a Model EU simulation as the presidency, for an enriching experience.

Graduate Certificate Programs

The ESC Certificates are regional/area studies certificates designed to enable students in any graduate program to complement their degree studies with an interdisciplinary set of area studies coursework directly related to one of these regions.

Graduate Student Funding Opportunities

Competitive funding opportunities are available for graduate students focusing on Europe to help support individual research, language training, conference attendance, and conference or event organization.
