D.C. Field Trips
In collaboration with fellow UCIS centers, the Asian Studies Center offers opportunities for Pitt undergraduate or graduate students to travel to Washington, D.C. for a few days. Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in the ASC Certificates.
Each Spring semester, students apply for a limited number of spots for the opportunity. Selected students will receive personalized coaching on how to fully engage their interests in D.C. Students in the past have taken advantage of the opportunity to participate in informational interviews with potential employers, to explore graduate programs in the D.C. area, or conduct archival research at select D.C. institutions.
